Imagine. If there was a time machine and you had the opportunity to go back in history and educate yourself about an upcoming opportunity/problem, would you do it? Or go back in history and live life from where you want to start off from again with the memory of the future? I had gone through a lot, and sometime ago would have jumped at such an opportunity. Sometimes I wished I had some kind of super powers like in X-Men or magical powers like in Harry Potter. Now, I laugh at the idea.
I am convinced that whatever you are right now is the result of all that has happened to you throughout your life. Changing any part of your life would be like changing your character, behaviour, lifestyle and thinking pattern. Sometimes I would want same thinking and character but better behaviour and lifestyle. Tut tut tut....cant have everything in life now can we?
I don't want to go back in history or pull time backwards so that my materialistic being will be in the past but experience the future. In this balancing act of past and future, my present will be lost in time.
Time works very strangely. When you enjoy your life, you feel like life is flying away at Mach 5 or something. But when you have a down period, it is dead slow. Like my typing speed...lolzz....I truly enjoyed my school life. It was a life without any tension and fear of tomorrow. Although I didn't have everything I wanted to have back in school, I was lucky enough to get what I got. A human mind which was basking in comforts was suddenly put in hardship and had to keep on working throughout the day to plan every second of it. I feel like I have lived 25 years in the last 7 years.
Life has taught me a good lesson, the best ever, to be a severe pessimist. I was taught about the power of optimism in school. I was encouraged to be optimistic. But real life is different. It teaches you to me pessimistic and prepare yourself for the worst. I personally believe in hoping for the best and expect the worst in life. It is kinda double talk, but hope you get the point.
And I wouldn't have been like this if I changed my history. It was a gamble between a wise but hard life and comfortable but immature life. Each might get equal share of support from everyone, but to make that decision is what life teaches you, heck, it is what time teaches you. After all, time is like a scale for life, except that we don't know how long it is going to be. Some break the scale midway(cowards) and some use tape & glue to stop it from breaking....
Mathematics say time travel is possible but only into future. Science fiction says it is possible both ways. But a wise mind doesn't care. But again, I am not wise, just in the path of becoming one.

Sprained foot heals not
After I sprained my foot back in the month of November, it wasn't the same ever since. I had endured a lot of pain to reduce the swelling and by the end of it, I hoped it would be back to normal, but no. Although the swelling was gone, the pain remained. I kept twisting the ankle in all different angles to get used to the pain. It took me some days and yet the I still feel pain when I twist my ankle to the extremes. I could walk after that but not run and jump. I could not even dance. I was so worried I wont be able to dance that I started running slowly even if it pained me. I kept running and slowly the pain reduced. I was able to run fairly fast now, not as good as I used to run before. But there is a definitely improvement.
I could not dance yet as my ankle would pain severely when jerked. But nevertheless, I kept doing it until the pain started to reduce, or until I got used to the pain. Now I can do almost everything like running, jumping, climbing stairs, dancing etc, but not like before. The sprain definitely showed its effect.
I hoped to go to Kapol near Allwin's house to fix it. After all they are good. They fixed my mom's broken arm quite effectively. But ironically, I could not make time to go there as something or the other would come up. I could have gone this Monday but we have our Christmas Town hall on 25th December. If I manage to get an off on that day, I wont be able to dance and enjoy with the bandage. Hence I postponed my plans again. I hope I can make it by next Monday, or ill have to apply for leave and go during weekdays.

Vinayakudu
Given the controversies about the movie, I was more than tempted to watch it. I planned to watch in Prasad's Multiplex with Ravi but it isn't easy to get tickets on Sunday without prior booking. We decided upon Gokul theatre. Ravi was there on time, and I as usual was late. He was waiting in queue for me. It was a quite sizable queue. Ravi was a little apprehensive if we would be able to get the tickets or not.
I offered to approach a few ladies for the tickets. That was what I did when I went for Happy Days with Sandeep & Sridhar. We were killing the time discussing our project. Ravi had a nice idea about the idea for our project. I started my work from that day itself. Even he has been putting effort, but I guess it is quite tough to design the whole thing. It could be a little easier if I could only design and embedded system part and buy a branded proximity reader system. Maintaining database would be another task.
Vivek could help us out with that. Besides, it would look good in his portfolio as well. We got tickets quicker than we expected. We still had 1 hour to wait. Went for some windowless window shopping at Erragadda. I was showing the shoes he could buy and were having fun. We bought my favorite Agra sweet there. Ravi did not like it. It was just too sweet for him.
We then went back to theatre and got into our seats. The movie about a fat guy who falls in love with a girl and this girl has ego problem. Initially she would hate him. Later, she becomes his friend and in the end Shamelessly expresses her love for him. The movie is lined with a string of jokes and criticism. It depicts how girls dont go for good looks or fat bank balance. They want "Fat" hearts.....!!! literally...!!!!
After the movie, we wanted to board buses to our respective destinations, but I was too active to go by bus. I told Ravi, I would walk and forced him to come along with me. He was first surprised that I would walk till my home, I told me It is nothing, I walked him till his house and then Ravi forced me to go home by auto.
All in all, I had a nice time...!!!!

True Education !!!
Parents would dread to answer children's questions like "What is AIDS?", "What is condom?", "What is sex?" etc....
But what I saw yesterday on our road is true education put in action. A 'not so well' known school, SVN High School in Qutubullapur, Hyderabad, have displayed courage, social awareness and responsibility at its best. As I was returning from Shopping with my Aunt, we saw most of the students from 8th to 10th class of this school fully dressed in their uniform with posters and banners. They were shouting simple Hindi & Telugu messages about AIDS. What followed next blew me away. I almost fell off my bike. Four boys with helmets were carrying a palanquin with a skeleton seated on a chair with a cowboy hat. There was also music with it. The school band were playing drums alongside the palanquin.
It takes great social responsibility to organise such a parade. I was totally impressed. If I wasn't that sleepy, I would have taken a picture or two of this parade. I told everyone I knew about this incident. If children participate in such an event, surely they will know all about AIDS. Even if they were not told what it exactly is or why they wore helmets, they have enough sense and resources to do research and learn by themselves.
Whatever be the situation, this has definitely put the message across to our colony about AIDS. Because it is not a disease. Many think, it is a disease. I hope more such schools come forward with courage and take the responsibility of social awareness literally into their own hands !!!!

A better start
After my first blog, I learnt loads about blogging and its delights. I learnt that there are a few things on that blog which I don't want some people to see and I cant afford to delete them either. So had to start a new blog.
Although the contents of the previous blog are available in another blog, since I like this name, I would want my new blog to have this name. To those friends whom I have mentioned/described ;) in my previous blog, I still got the content at another place.
I hurt a lot of people's feelings in my previous blog. And I believe Gridder gets the top spot in it. To Gridder - "Hey buddy!! Although I don't know your real name, if you read my previous article from Vaishu or someone and felt bad, I am really sorry for it !!!"
I had to say this because I know I was a jerk back then. Heck, I am a jerk even now...lolzz....hehehe !!!!
Hope to make better use of this blog. I hardly got any response for my last blog. I learnt not to expect it. I was down a little because of it. I realised that blogs are for my own satisfaction which might help a few others !!!!
