Imagine. If there was a time machine and you had the opportunity to go back in history and educate yourself about an upcoming opportunity/problem, would you do it? Or go back in history and live life from where you want to start off from again with the memory of the future? I had gone through a lot, and sometime ago would have jumped at such an opportunity. Sometimes I wished I had some kind of super powers like in X-Men or magical powers like in Harry Potter. Now, I laugh at the idea.
I am convinced that whatever you are right now is the result of all that has happened to you throughout your life. Changing any part of your life would be like changing your character, behaviour, lifestyle and thinking pattern. Sometimes I would want same thinking and character but better behaviour and lifestyle. Tut tut tut....cant have everything in life now can we?
I don't want to go back in history or pull time backwards so that my materialistic being will be in the past but experience the future. In this balancing act of past and future, my present will be lost in time.
Time works very strangely. When you enjoy your life, you feel like life is flying away at Mach 5 or something. But when you have a down period, it is dead slow. Like my typing speed...lolzz....I truly enjoyed my school life. It was a life without any tension and fear of tomorrow. Although I didn't have everything I wanted to have back in school, I was lucky enough to get what I got. A human mind which was basking in comforts was suddenly put in hardship and had to keep on working throughout the day to plan every second of it. I feel like I have lived 25 years in the last 7 years.
Life has taught me a good lesson, the best ever, to be a severe pessimist. I was taught about the power of optimism in school. I was encouraged to be optimistic. But real life is different. It teaches you to me pessimistic and prepare yourself for the worst. I personally believe in hoping for the best and expect the worst in life. It is kinda double talk, but hope you get the point.
And I wouldn't have been like this if I changed my history. It was a gamble between a wise but hard life and comfortable but immature life. Each might get equal share of support from everyone, but to make that decision is what life teaches you, heck, it is what time teaches you. After all, time is like a scale for life, except that we don't know how long it is going to be. Some break the scale midway(cowards) and some use tape & glue to stop it from breaking....
Mathematics say time travel is possible but only into future. Science fiction says it is possible both ways. But a wise mind doesn't care. But again, I am not wise, just in the path of becoming one.
